WHO WE ARE
Artist for Eritrea is a group of Eritrean professionals in art, music, entertainment, and other fields who come together to promote Eritrea and Eritrean talents. Eritrean artists have successfully served the people of Eritrea for decades working as one.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to promote Eritrean culture, music, and artists* to empower/strengthen the community through a global, intergenerational alliance of Eritrean entertainers including artists, comedian, art, humanities, musicians, culture.
OUR OBJECTIVES
The Artists of Eritrea Platform was created to Inspire a sense of unity among Eritreans through inspirational, entertaining, and educational content. Raise awareness of the realities facing our communities, both the successes/inspiration and the challenges.
OUR PRIORITIES:
- Expand alliance of artists
- Contact and reach out to Eritrean artists to “join network”
- Establish artist database (contact info + asks made + asks fulfilled + enthusiasm), guidelines,
- Establish a sustainable organizational structure
- Bring in consultants to support us in identifying direction (nonprofit vs for profit)
- Includes administration aspects: bank account, fundraising modalities, legal, etc.
- Secure fundraising
- Build consistent messaging/brand and establish a following
- Establish social media strategy and content plan
- Review, select, and curate engaging content
- Use content on YouTube to start generating funds
